Remote Session

How to schedule your remote coding session

Some BimmerTech products require special coding and activation, which our technician can do remotely over the internet at a time convenient for you. If you require coding, the kit you receive from us will include one of these coding interface cables:

If your kit does not include a coding interface, you do NOT need to schedule a remote coding session.

Navigate to BVzine.com, decode your VIN and check the "E Series" parameter in your VIN results. If it starts with the letter E (e.g. E90, E60 etc.), you have an E-series; with the letter F (e.g. F30, F10, etc.), you have an F-series; and with the letter G (e.g. G11, G30, etc.) you have a G-series.

Before activation, you will need:

  • The coding interface (we will send this to you).

  • A laptop PC running Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10) with admin access. A Mac computer running Windows is not compatible with E-Series vehicles, so in this case you will be required to use a native Windows PC. For F- and G-Series vehicles, a Macbook running Windows or a recent version of MacOS with admin access will work. Note that a MacBook with the M1 (Apple silicon) chip cannot be used for your session.
  • A WiFi internet network that you can connect to in your car

  • 20-60 minutes to complete the product activation.

When you are ready, click here to arrange your session with our technician. Please choose an available slot when you will be able to connect with our technician to complete activation, no sooner than 12 hours after scheduling the session. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with further instructions how to set up your laptop. Please follow them carefully, as failing to do so may result in your session being cancelled.
