Our expert technician will program your new BMW navigation and update the unit to match the configuration of your vehicle. What's more, we'll even activate fully wireless Apple CarPlay in your BMW, so you'll be ready to use all your favorite iOS apps on the dashboard display. Please note that if your vehicle is not equipped with a WiFi antenna, you will need to add one to your order to use Apple CarPlay.

This activation also includes #Voice Control# & #Video & Services in motion#, to make trips in your car much more enjoyable. You’ll be able to use original BMW maps, control the system with simple verbal commands and turn on movies for your passengers. #NBT Evo# Software Activation is performed through a remote coding session with a dedicated BimmerTech technician.

It is a very simple process that takes no more than 30 minutes. After you complete your order, we send you a coding cable (if you don't have one and add it in the top Option section). Once you receive it, you will be able to schedule a coding session for the time that suits you best. During the session, you will need to just plug in the cable, download some BMW coding software and follow the instructions from our technician.

To prepare for your BMW iDrive update you will need a laptop running Microsoft Windows and a WiFi internet network that you can connect to in your car. A Mac computer running Windows should work too. The coding cable must be plugged into your laptop’s Ethernet port (if you don’t have one, you can use an adapter).
